Heroes of Lowhelm is a Web2/Web3 Hybrid Fantasy JRPG Mobile Video Game that also utilizes Blockchain by tokenizing Major Assets such as Premium Heroes, Premium Equipment, & Premium Currency. The game itself requires Players to form teams of up to 5 Heroes (every account will get 2 free starter units) to tackle on PVE StoryMode to Learn more of the storyline upon deeper progress and Grind Materials for Upgrading Units and Equipment. Players will earn Gold and Rubies from storymode which are Progressive Currency which are not blockchain assets. Gold and Rubies are generally used as materials for upgrading and/or Summoning Basic Units & Equipment. Premium Assets can be drawn from Summoning by spending $HOL. $HOL is the main native token of Heroes of Lowhelm and it isn't easily earned in-game. $HOL is a scarce asset that can only be earned in-game from Hero Expeditions (Capped Hero Staking with chance to earn minor amounts of $HOL) and from playing Competitive Features of the game such as PVP Arena, Guild Wars, and World Boss. Our game comes with focus on Quality first because we aim to on par with popular traditional games such as Epic Seven, King's Raid, Summoner's War, Monster Super League, Fate Grand Order...etc. As you can see from our website alone, the type of quality of Graphics we are aiming for. We found traditional traditional gaming, especially for Players who spend in-game, to be quite ridiculous. Why? Because a Player can spend tens of thousands of dollars in-game and when the Player quits, they are left with nothing as they do not have the ability to even sell their assets and/or accounts. As much as we love high APR staking rewards, we must look after sustainability first so we've designed the staking emissions to come directly from In-Game Premium Summons (Heroes & Equipment Summons that costs $HOL). 55% of all Premium Hero and Equipment Sales will be used as Staking Emissions. We also plan to have an in-game marketplace to buy/sell/trade in-game major assets and 5% of sales that involves the $HOL token will also be used as Staking Emissions. A problem we found in past Web3 games we've encountered was the game's NFT sales are usually fixed costs in the game's native token. This is a problem if you plan to go big because if the token price has appreciated really high, the cost of minting new NFTs is too costly. Some good example was Axie Infinity and Binamon. So to combat this, we have a off-chain Time-Weighted-Average-Price (TWAP) Oracle that gives the average price of $HOL of the last Hour every 30minutes in-game while pricing Summoning Costs in USD. We believe success comes from high Playerbase and Web3 is not enough alone. Traditional gamers are easily offput by crypto games and we want the game to look normal like a regular game as much as possible. To achieve this, we also have devised a system so even NON-CRYPTO Players can add transactions to blockchain without even needing a crypto wallet with the option of linking a crypto wallet in the future for withdrawals/deposits. We've also came with a solution for Players to not have to wait for blockchain finality during the Minting process so Players can Mass Summon. My old guild who is #1 in every game we've played, consisted of many streamers who just throw money into the game to spend on Summoning. Often spamming thousands of dollars on batch summons , skipping summoning animations. If folks whose never touched crypto before and have to wait even a few seconds for a Summon to go through successfully, will quit the game right away. Our game is centralized as CHEATING in games are inevitable so we must have Admin controls to combat cheaters and fraudsters (We will have the ability to ban/unban NFTs & Accounts + Transfer Ownership/Burn any Player's NFT in case of disputes between Players/catching cheaters). Like a real video game, we will be maintaining Game Master & Moderation duties. Our game actually began production beginning of the 2022 by HPL Game Corporation. We've also hired Definite Studios shortly after to create high quality animations for us. The problem was, HPL let us down because due to extremely poor game development and we've couldn't risk giving them anymore time to make up for it. We ended our contract with HPL with a small refund which was paid over 6 months (they were not willing to give back more). So, we've reached out to Definite Studios, who has a much larger portfolio of both Web2 and Web3 games. DS has been very supportive and after evaluating the current state of the application, there were a good amount of work still to be done. At this very moment, we were short to kickstart development with DS. However, one of the co-founders, Andy, had paid for it out of his pocket. Including what we received from HPL (the small refund), was only enough to afford the game to built to the BETA Stage (currently about to release the Pre-Alpha). In order for us to reach the Full Version, we need additional funding.
